StatusBee ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the StatusBee mobile application.

1. Storage, Media Access, & Device Features

To comply with Google Play policies and ensure your privacy, StatusBee operates with strict boundaries regarding your device's storage and settings:

• Storage Read/Write Access: We use Android Scoped Storage to save downloaded media files (like images, GIFs, and statuses) to your device's gallery. We only request read and write access for the specific files you interact with. We do NOT scan, collect, or upload your personal photos, videos, or documents to our servers.
• Storage Access Framework (SAF): For the WhatsApp status saving feature, we use SAF to request permission exclusively for the WhatsApp status directory. We cannot access any other folders on your device.
• Wallpaper Settings: StatusBee allows you to set images directly as your Home or Lock screen wallpaper. To provide this feature, the app requests permission to modify your device's wallpaper. We only apply the specific image you manually select and do not track or alter any other system settings.
• No Background Collection: All media downloads, storage access, and wallpaper changes are strictly user-initiated.

2. Data Collection & Usage

• Personal Information: We do NOT collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contacts.
• Device Information: We may collect non-identifying information for app performance and stability.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

StatusBee uses Google AdMob for monetization. AdMob may use device identifiers and cookies to serve personalized advertisements. For more information, visit Google's Privacy & Terms.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

StatusBee offers premium features via in-app purchases. All transactions are securely processed by the Google Play Store (Google Play Billing). We do NOT collect, process, or store any of your financial or credit card information on our servers. For information on how your payment data is handled, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)

We comply with international privacy standards. Users have full control over their data and permissions within the app settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
