# Setup Guide - Telegram Bot

## Quick Setup

### 1. Install Dependencies
```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

### 2. Configure Environment
Create a `.env` file in the project root:
```env
TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN=your_bot_token_here
ADMIN_ID=your_telegram_user_id
```

### 3. Run Setup Verification
```bash
python setup.py
```

### 4. Start the Bot
```bash
python bot.py
```

## File Structure Verification

All required files should be present:

- ✅ `handlers.py` - Command handlers
- ✅ `database.py` - Database operations

## Troubleshooting

### Import Errors
If you get `ModuleNotFoundError`, install dependencies:
```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

### Database Errors
The database will be created automatically on first run. Ensure the bot has write permissions in the project directory.

### Configuration Errors
Make sure your `.env` file has the correct format and all required variables are set.
